Wolverine Dermatology’s new office in Wyoming reflects Dr. Freeland’s love of Michigan, the University of Michigan, and his country. After separating from the military, and returning to civilian life, Dr. Freeland partnered with his sister, Kristen Tungate, to create a new dermatology practice to serve residents in the Southeast area. First Companies was hired to manage construction of the 15,890 square foot (SF) building which is home to both Wolverine Dermatology and Align Orthodontics. The Wolverine Dermatology office is 7,292 SF with a 3,363 SF basement. As soon as you enter the office you notice the distinct blue and maize color palette as well as the upscale Michigan lake house theme throughout.
Among the many beautiful and unique architectural features, the building includes “cloud” ceilings in several rooms, and a grand skylight in the clinical den, with transom windows to bring in loads of natural light throughout the office. Finally, you will find the American flag prominently displayed in the reception area acknowledging Dr. Ryan’s love of this country, and his desire to serve Veterans in his practice. (You’ll also find special hero parking out front!) The office features a reception lounge, ten exam and procedure rooms, a phone suite for nurses, a breakroom/kitchen area and locker room for the staff. A clinical den serves as the central hub for the doctors and staff with a unique on-stage/off-stage design and workflow that maximizes patient privacy as well as clinical efficiency.
