First Companies was chosen to renovate Jenison Christian’s main entrance and vestibule over the summer months in 2022. The team was able to manage a tight timeframe by coordinating with subcontractors and the school to complete the project while students and teachers were away. The renovation included asbestos remediation and new finishes in adjacent classrooms. New structural steel was added in the vestibule to support the entrance and added roof loads. First Companies worked with donors from Jenison Christian, as well as its subcontractors, to complete the work on time and under budget.
