First Companies worked with The Dental House to renovate an existing building into a beautiful dental office space. The renovation process included demolition of the existing walls and finishes, new walls, new interior finishes, new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
First Companies discovered that the existing building structure went through numerous additions over the years without any as-built drawings. First Companies had to carefully identify what was structural and what wasn’t as we started our investigating demolition. As part of our safety measures, we performed an asbestos investigation and found ACM containing materials that needed to be removed. First Companies overcame these challenges and finished the project within days of our original completion date without additional cost impacts to the client.
