NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS MONTH-BY-MONTH CONSTRUCTION TIMELAPSE
For almost 100 years the name Viking has represented global leadership in fire protection equipment. When the company decided to build their new 172,000 square foot North American headquarters, they hired First Companies for the job. This included 70,000 square feet of beautifully finished office space and 50,000 square feet of production space (with room to expand up to 65,000 square feet). The building includes state-of the-art facilities for research and development, product testing, manufacturing and assembly as well as an onsite catering and kitchen space. Viking expressed the need for a culture shift and saw their physical space as a catalyst to drive that desired change. We helped them design an open-concept office space that encourages the worker mobility and collaboration they desired.
