Revolve Cycle Studio selected First Companies to update and refresh their space, creating an exciting cycling studio in the center of Ada Village. This tenant improvement project is located near Foxtail Coffee and Baton Collective, both of which were constructed by First Companies. Revolve Cycle Studio’s clients now enjoy a new reception area, locker room, and fully outfitted cycling studio.
The interior design is clean, bright, and approachable, featuring smooth tile flooring, a subway tile backsplash behind the reception counter, and playful, airy light fixtures. The cycle studio uses DMX (Digital Multi-Signal) tape with color-changing lights, synced with the high-end sound system, to create a high-energy atmosphere during classes.
To minimize disruption to surrounding businesses, First Companies consulted with a sound engineer to develop a soundproofing plan. This included installing sound caulking around gaps in the drywall of the studio. Although soundproofing created challenges with lowering the cycle studio’s ceiling, First Companies was able to achieve the desired results through close coordination with the HVAC and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) trade contractors. All work was completed on time and within budget.
