Renovated in 2013, Lofts on Pearl was the first in a series of renovation projects First Companies was hired to complete in downtown Grand Rapids. This project helped to define “loft living” and established a look and standards for many future multi-use development projects to come.
Lofts on Pearl included major renovations to four floors above the well-known Flanagan’s Irish Pub, just one block from Rosa Parks Circle. Fourteen one- and two-bedroom apartments were constructed incorporating many of the historic features, such as high ceilings, wood flooring, and exposed brick. The apartments were also fully equipped with many modern amenities, including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, washers and dryers, and more. All work was completed as planned and the project came in on budget..
