First Companies worked with Hudsonville Vision Care to renovate their previous space and construct an addition. This 3,500 SF renovation included a complete refresh with new paint, carpet, lighting and furniture updates in the lobby and exam areas. First Companies phased the project so Hudsonville Vision Care could remain open and operational during construction.
Updates in the lobby included a new cloud feature, a naturally lit area for eyeglass fittings, and fresh furniture to maintain a comfortable and professional atmosphere. The addition made space for a relaxing staff break room with a kitchenette and another bathroom.
Careful attention was paid to all exterior elements, including roofing, windows, and brick to ensure a seamless transition between the addition and existing building. The addition included a breakroom and added workspace for the staff as well as a new reception area and retail space for patients shopping for frames. All work was completed as scheduled and on budget.
