Bengtson Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery was experiencing growth and in need of space. After careful consideration, they chose to partner with First Companies and relocate their practice to the new medical corridor on East Paris. The 14,000 square feet that Bengtson Center now occupies, in the recently completed New Vista building, is double what they had before, and provides two state-of-the-art operating rooms, eight treatment rooms for the staff aestheticians, and several non-surgical treatment rooms utilizing advanced technologies in body sculpting and other procedures, a digital Vectra 3D room, multiple pre- and post-operation rooms, and a men’s lounge. AMDG served as the architect on the New Vista Medical Center with Kathrn Chaplow as the designer.

We kept asking First Companies and AMDG if this vision was too far out, but they loved the direction and we ended up with an amazingly beautiful space that has more of a high-end residential feel – somewhat like a ski lodge or maybe a Cape Cod home that is non-medical and very welcoming.
