Hoekwater Family Dentistry

When Drs. James, Jamie, and Drew Hoekwater noticed their family practice outgrowing its existing office space, they began looking at construction options to build a facility that met the changing needs of their expanding practice. After six months of searching, with the help of First Companies, the practice selected a site in the Metro Health Village. The village, shares an environment that is coordinated in its “environment of nature, convenience, and calm”. As part of that coordinated effort, all buildings within the village are required to meet LEED certification standards.

“Going into the construction of a new business “home”, I had a lot of hesitation and basically dread,” explains Dr. James Hoekwater. “But, through your leadership, assistance, and expertise we made it through the myriad of decisions and steps without serious physical or psychological damage and the process was even enjoyable.”

Utilizing conventional construction methods, Hoekwater Family Dentistry occupies approximately half of the 10,000 square foot building. The remaining space is available to tenants who embrace the same environmental values as the Hoekwater’s and Metro Health Village. Additional highlights of this conventional facility include masonry and glass features, raised clerestory glass roof element, and Dri-Design™ metal panels.
